Pacific Blue Seafood was founded in 1990 by Don Alberto Saracho, the son of Don Paco, a local fisherman in Sinaloa, MX. Alberto was a fourth-generation fisherman whose passion for fishing and love for the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez led him to establish Pacific Blue Seafood in the neighboring state of Sonora, MX. A state with a vast coastline and access to one of the most pristine oceans in the world.
After being raised in a small fisherman village off the Pacific Ocean, his brilliant mind earned him a scholarship to study in the United States. Upon his return to Mexico, he decided to establish a business that he would not only consider his most passionate venture, but with the purpose of supporting the local communities of primarily indigenous fishermen with whom he spent much of his childhood. Throughout his life he held a close bond with this region.
Pacific Blue Seafood through the years has become what it is today, a small business and a household name, known across the industry for its excellence in quality and superior products. His son now spearheads Pacific Blue Seafood, where he continues to grow the strong bonds in the region with a commitment to conservation and best practices for the industry.
Pacific Blue Seafood is committed to sustainability and to the planet. It holds a minimal waste policy; as the byproduct of its processes is used by serving as organic fertilizer and compost for local organic farms as well as ingredients in organic pet food. We are committed to the highest-quality products while leaving the least possible impact on the planet.
