Our story

Three generations on the Sea of Cortez

EST. 1990

Pacific Blue Seafood was founded in 1990 by Don Alberto Saracho, son of a local fisherman in Sinaloa, México. Don Alberto was a third-generation fisherman whose passion for fishing and love for the Sea of Cortez led him to establish Pacific Blue Seafood in the neighboring state of Sonora — a state with a vast coastline and access to one of the most pristine oceans in the world.

Pacific Blue Seafood is now a household name, known across the industry for its excellence in quality and superior products. We continue to grow strong bonds in the region with a commitment to conservation and best practices for the industry.

We are committed to sustainability. We hold a minimal-waste policy: the byproduct of our processes is used as organic fertilizer and compost for local organic farms. We are committed to the highest-quality products while leaving the least possible impact on the planet.
